I am a product of the Vietnam War Era, of the Cold War. If you read my e-book, Billy jack vs John Wayne, you’ll see that I was part of the John Wayne Era. Woodstock, Billy Jack, and other iconic films/music/events of the time happened early in my life. These values of freedom, individual rights and liberty were rejected by my parents’ generation – to talk about “my rights” was communist talk – those hippies are corrupting your morals! It took a long time to realize the extent of the lies and propaganda that we were fed at home, in school, in movies, … but I did come around. Anyway, I got into this game a bit late in my career, well after the fall of the Soviet Union (which some said was the end of geopolitics), after Bush invaded Iraq, after China had risen. I was hired as a Subject Matter Expert (Globalization) to teach in China, earned my MA in International Relations, studied Diplomacy and Terrorism, and published a number of articles.
