Jim McCoy editing video in the China studio

I’ve had blogs before, they were free or cheap and they weren’t serious business ventures. This is a Channel, not a Blog. It’s not just for fun. Yes, I hope to make some money here; like you, I need it. I’ll be selling products and services, and it’s not a cheap subscription.

Why is it more expensive? Because I need members to be serious. I also need to make sure that no one registers anonymously.

My other blog, This is My China, was taken down following a sustained attack by a Russian hacker group. I don’t know why they came after me, although I can speculate, but it may also have been a viral thing that they exploited without actually knowing who I am. Anything is possible, but I am in a position where some want to shut me down.

Here, we’re going to avoid discussing whacky conspiracy theories – there are no Lizard People, Joe Biden was not replaced by a double, the moon landing wasn’t even fake… things like this… BUT, just because these theories are out there doesn’t mean all are… You only need to look at the JFK assassination to understand. We still don’t have the truth from the government, and only top level people (VP, FBI, CIA, Military, etc.) could kill the President and do that to the investigation. If we are not allowed to know who killed the President, then we can’t say that we live in a free country. The JFK assassination is a lesson: don’t trust what the government tells you.

I have my companion blog at www.mgchinau.com , which I will keep and write about China (you’ll get a free subscription there is you subscribe here. Here, I’ll address much of the same, but it won’t be China-centric, there will be courses and seminars offered here, subscribers can get discounts on courses at www.oseduversity.com

I’ll try to get articles up as fast as possible so you fee like you’re getting something here. There will be exclusive access to video and commentary. You’ll also get a free subscription to the China blog, so you can start reading there.

This post is a bit rambling, because it’s very late at night (early morning) and I have a lot of thoughts about this. I had thought about doing this project prior to my original China blog, and now it’s coming together rather spontaneously.

All I can say is this: Subscribe and come along for the ride. I’ll give you $85.00 in credit on the OpenSource EduVersity site to take some courses
